review new single

Here is what TUNED UP wrote about our new single release:

If you’re in the mood for something easy listening but not sleep-inducing, this song hits the spot. I’m not particularly into jam bands but for some reason I got lucky this afternoon when clicking through promo emails. This was the first song in a unread Tuned Up email that popped up, and it’s suiting my Saturday afternoon summer coffee shop mood perfectly. I think this band should play Columbus’ ComFest in the future. All the aging hippies and young guns will love it.

new track & video

Last week we recorded a new track in our rehearsal room (both audio and video). This will give you an impression on how our project sounds and how it looks. For the first time we are using the connection between the audio and the video. It is a first attempt but the possibilities are endless and we very eager to use and improve this new opportunity. It can only get better : – )

The track is based on an old recording of Soul Of A Man by Blind Willie Johnson but you will also hear some Led Zeppelin

ableton + resolume

When we started this project we wanted to combine everything we learned over the last 40 years and create something new with our experience and the technological possibillities of 2017. We are making great progress in adding and connecting graphics to our music and we are discovering new technical possibillities almost daily. For our musical ‚framework’ we are using Ableton and now we have connected that in real-time (via midi) to Resolume for the images, movies and visual effects. We are busy arranging, recording and taping and will be able to show you the first results soon.
