Today we released our new single on Black and Tan Records
The original acapella recording of this old gospel tune was done by Roscoe Chenier and released on Black and Tan Records in 2006. On this single we added a new musical background to Roscoe’s voice. Jan had the luck to work with Roscoe on several releases and tours in Europe from 1993 on and he certainly was one of the nicest guys to work with. Unfortunately Roscoe died (far too soon) in February 2013.
The track is released on Black and Tan Records and will be digital only. This means it will be available on all the download and streaming platforms. Here are the links to a few popular ones.
Here is the first single release from the recording session that we did with Kim Snelten. The single is released on Black and Tan Records available on all the digital download and streaming platforms and here the links to a few popular ones.
Here is a new video / track that we recorded recently. The music is based in some old John Lee Hooker and Alan Lomax samples. The extra camera is handled by Peter Tump.
Hope you like it
Last week we recorded a new track in our rehearsal room (both audio and video). This will give you an impression on how our project sounds and how it looks. For the first time we are using the connection between the audio and the video. It is a first attempt but the possibilities are endless and we very eager to use and improve this new opportunity. It can only get better : – )
The track is based on an old recording of Soul Of A Man by Blind Willie Johnson but you will also hear some Led Zeppelin
